Boecillo is located at the South of the Duero River and nar the Cega river, surrounded by pine trees,  The remains of its historical past show that lives between tradition and technology. It has ceramic vestiges ranging from Celtiberian times to the Middle Ages. It arose as a result of settlements made ​​to the repopulation of the Duero basin , constituting a small village inhabited by commoners and villains , graduates of the combatant armies .

We can set its origins between the ninth and tenth centuries AD . There is another fact that can say with certainty : those people who settled in Boecillo , "were Christians of Muslim Spain " . This is evidenced by the fact that there was a Mozarabic Church.
